Terms of Service
- Displayed prices may be subjected to change based on the complexity and size of the drawing. This rule includes adding more complex background and adding multiple characters to the illustration.
- The Client must provide a clear visual reference for the character in commission or the commission will be automatically declined.
- If the Client can only provide a written description of the character, the Artist has the right to decline the commission.
- Payments $40 and under must be paid in full upfront before the Artist can start on the commission. Once the Client pays, the Artist will complete the commission in a timely manner.
- Commissions with a greater price than $40 will need a down payment before the work can begin. The Client can choose to pay upfront in full or separate their payments with at least $40 before the sketch and the rest after the approval of the sketch.
- Clients can request for minor changes on the sketching stage free of charge. Asking for changes afterward due to a change of mind will cause the price to increase depending on the type of commission and the current stage of said commission.
- If the Client allows for the Artist to use their creative freedom, such as not giving the Artist a pose or idea for the commission, the Artist can deny the Client's requests for major changes since the Client allowed for the Artist to use their creative freedom beforehand if it's near completion.
- Refunds on the Client's end is only allowed if the Artist agrees that they cannot complete the commission in a timely manner or have not worked further than the sketch stage of the commission.
- The Client must discuss with the Artist in one area about the details of the commission which can be either Direct Message on the Artist's social media or through email.
- The Artist will provide updates on the commission and any delays that may happen for the commission to the Client through their way of communication.
- The Client will be given an unwatermarked version of the commission when completed and the Artist has received the full payment. The Client can only use the commission for personal use. The Client must ask the Artist about posting it on their own social media to allow the Artist to give them an watermarked version with credit to the Artist.
- The Artist retains all the rights of the commission and can post it to promote themselves, even if the commission includes the Client’s characters. However, the Client retains their rights to their respective character. The Artist can withhold posting the commission if the commission is time-sensitive if the Client mentions it beforehand.
- The commissioned work is for non-profit uses unless discussed with the Artist.
- The Client cannot profit off the commissioned work (this includes sales of it on merchandise or digital files) unless there has been a discussion with the Artist about commercial use that the Artist agreed to. The Client cannot alter the commissioned work at all.
- However, Twitch Assets Commissions already include commercial use prices and can be used as such.
- The commission will not be used for any blockchain-related endeavor, including but not limited to NFT.
- The Artist has the right to reject any commission for any reason. The Artist will not handle depiction of illegal activities, hateful images, intense body horror, or something that will not fit in the Artist’s style or skillset. The Client can ask if their commission is something within the range the Artist is willing to draw and the Artist will answer the Client.
- If the Client wishes for a commission within a time limit, the Client must tell the Artist beforehand and the Artist will discuss with the Client if it can be done within the time limit or not depending on the type of the commission.
- The Client can make payments through PayPal, Cashapp, and Venmo.
- The Client must read, understand and agree to all the above terms before the Artist agrees on the commission. If the Client goes against one of these terms, they will be banned from commissioning from the Artist in the future.
